For the last 18 years Emma and her husband Mark have run a successful design business creating bone china chandeliers. Emma’s designs have been featured in Elle decoration, Ceramic art and Perception, Ceramic Review, UK and international press also Ceramic art and design books. Her work has sold throughout the world from Nottingham to Australia. Installed in private homes, hotels, architectural projects and airports.
But everyone needs a change….
Emma’s other passion is baking.
“From an early age, my patient mother allowed me and my sister unlimited access to her kitchen and cookery books and most weeks we attempted some sugary creation covering her kitchen in flour and butter! After studying and working with bone china for many years – a white and delicate clay similar to icing – it’s been an easy shift to transfer my skills and design experience to this delicious new media”
